Recital day

Two student recitals, two faculty recitals

Students play one piece each, in concert dress, for families and friends. Recitals are offered, never required, and a student plays when they and their teacher decide a piece is ready. The teachers play in October and March.

What to expect

Listening to a recital

  • Arrive early

Come ten minutes before the start so that students can settle and the room stays quiet.

  • Silence your phone

Please keep phones in a pocket or a bag, and take photos only in the lobby.

  • Applaud at the end of each piece

Applause belongs to the end of each piece, not between its movements.
